We are looking for a Travel & Leisure Consultant with great enthusiasm for traveling. You will be responsible for promoting and booking traveling arrangements for clients (individuals or businesses). The goal is to enhance satisfaction and acquire an expanding and dedicated clientele.
Typical duties include:
Selling holidays and arranging flights, insurance and accommodation using a booking system to secure holidays and advising clients on travel arrangements
Airline reservation for all International sectors-(GDS –GALILEO) and sending out tickets to clients, keeping clients up to date with any changes and dealing with complaints or refunds
Meeting profit or sales targets
Liaising with hotels / accommodation owners, suppliers & agents, coach companies etc.
Work with management to develop and implement business development strategy
Coordinate with management and clients to identify business development opportunities with existing and new clients
Travel to customer sites and trade shows to promote company’s products and services
Attend client conferences and meetings in order to network with new and existing contacts.
Establish strong customer relationship by providing accurate and timely information to customers regarding
inquiries such as products, pricing, quotes and issues/concerns.
Requirements:
• Proven working experience as a Travel & Leisure consultant
• Excellent knowledge in GALILEO
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
• Exemplary sales skills and customer oriented approach
• Well versed in various areas of travel (domestic/international, business/holidays, group/individual etc)
• Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively
• Demonstrable ability to handle crises
• IATA Certified
• Candidates with personal travel experience will be preferred
