JOB DESCRIPTION
This pivotal role is responsible for helping to create and implement the social media strategy. The right candidate will be able to develop brand awareness, generate inbound traffic, and develop highly engaging content across all social channels. The position will consist of the following responsibilities:
• Manage all social media platforms (Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, etc.). Responsible for the management of day-to-day activities including creating content across all channels to reach the target audience.
• Create engaging content, update customers on new product ranges and offers.
• Create poster and video ads by working with the team. Understand seasonal and business intelligence trends to ensure that the creatives target appropriate customer base.
• Become an advocate of the brand on social media, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
• Implement a proactive strategy for capturing online customer reviews, monitor online ratings and respond accordingly. Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs. Analyze, review and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize engagement and conversions.
• Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channel, design and strategy and make recommendations. New platforms can be added based on the trends in the region.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven active involvement in social media activities such as blogs, Facebook, communities, social bookmarking, RSS feeds, etc. Verifiable online presence preferred, but not necessary.
• Strong knowledge of user-generated content and the concept of viral marketing.
• Proven proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Outstanding project management, organizational and problem solving skills. Must be detail-oriented.
• Fresh graduates with a flair for writing can also apply.
