Description:

Our client is a leading rental and leasing business that provides a variety of products / services in to the oil and gas industry in the UAE.
Job role
Lead and motivate a team of employees so that revenue, profit and plant utilisation targets are exceeded.
Drive penetration of the company products and solutions across relevant sectors in the UAE and position the Company as a high quality service provider in the Country.
Develop and agree strategic business plan to enable significant growth over a medium term period. Develop and implement both short and long range goals and strategies for efficient operations and improvements with a primary focus on developing profitable business.
Participate / contribute in the negotiation of terms for existing and new customers to maximise revenue/profit for the Company and increase market share.
Ensure that regular formal reviews are carried out with the key accounts so that any variances to the annual plan can be addressed.
Establish and build customer relationships to retain, and maximise the revenue earning potential of all accounts.
Oversee the employment, training and activity of a suitably skilled and motivated workforce, and getting the most effective performance from them.
Ensure that sufficient resources are in place at all times to win and maintain sufficient business to deliver, as a minimum, annual sales targets as agreed with the senior management.
Manage the business using strategic plans agreed with the senior Management team from time to time so that the business delivers the budgeted profit numbers.
Implement and enforce necessary credit policies and procedures to deliver target debtor day performance of the business.
Be fully conversant with financial data and be able to accurately define reasons for under or over performance in all areas of business.
Maintain a suitable business infrastructure capable of servicing customer's needs, our equipment needs and our own internal administrative needs in such a way as to ensure a professional level of business conduct is maintained.
Maintain & develop strong relationships with all official and government agencies, ensuring the business complies at all times with the law of the land.
Always seeking the ways to improve the business is every regard, making recommendations to the senior management fully supported by sufficient financial and other data to substantiate the argument.
Report clearly and concisely on a regular basis in order to ensure the senior management team is reasonably well versed with regard to the business issues and the markets in which it is operating.

Person specification

Proven sales track record selling services/ products in to the oil & gas sector
Degree calibre individual
International experience and/or experience of working in the middle east with a proven track record of dealing with different cultures will be essential
Experienced in rental/leasing sales in to the Oil & gas sector sector
Commercially astute
Proven ability to manage and develop a team
Operational experience would be an advantage
