The Sr/Account Executive is responsible for executing daily, weekly, monthly, agreed plans with clients, pertaining to improving their social media presence, and meeting their online marketing strategies. The Account Executive is responsible for following-up on design work, content plans, client requests regularly. They shall work very closely with Account Managers to understand better client needs, strategy, guidelines, and ensure all involved parties (content team, designers, and others) are in line with these guidelines, and the execution of agreed plan is done efficiently and with high quality. Frequent tasks include but is not limited to: content calendars creation or review, reporting, briefing designers, following up, managing clients’ expectations, and foremost building positive relationships with all parties for continuous smooth workflow.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with client and Account Manager to contribute on social media strategies, that collaborates with marketing, PR and advertising campaigns, research top influencers, competitors, and trends in clients’ industries.
Create timely and engaging content plans optimized for platform used and intended audience.
Knowing what type of content works best on what platform, optimizing content accordingly, as well as understanding the different nuances of each platform.
Set guidelines for supporting team members including community managers/customer service on how to interact with target audience
Conceptualize engaging and professional visuals / videos / content with creative team (designers / copywriters), that reflect client and their brand personality and objectives.
Customize social media pages/platforms, and develop supporting offline collateral, by creating original content.
Optimize SEO by aligning it with the overall social media plan.
Analyze and report social media actions on a monthly basis for successes and new opportunities.
Stay current with social media trends and tools – includes attending networking and educational events, reading blogs, and listening to podcasts.
Monitor the social media platforms
Track social media influencers
Continue to refine and define our social marketing process.
Work with teams to create a solid branding message that’s reflected across client’s image
Attend events when required and live coverages
Continuously brainstorm for new campaigns and ideas with team members
Work towards bringing more leads and upselling
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Bachelor Degree in Mass Communication, Business Management, Advertising and Marketing, or any other related field
Up to 3 years of social media marketing experience
Excellent Arabic and English communication skills & and an eye for details
Proofreading & editing skills
Experience in project management and project management
Experience in social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, Google Communities, Twitter, YouTube, and more.
Knowledge of social media and analytics software (Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.).
Working knowledge of social media paid advertising campaigns including Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
Exceptional time management skills including the ability to handle multiple clients with changing priorities.
Strong understanding of social media content best practices & guidelines
Strong understanding of UAE market including dialect, culture, and political landscape
Proven ability to collaborate across division to implement processes and achieve results. Track record of building and maintaining productive relationships with multiple stakeholders, including working closely with department heads.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task efficiently and respond to ongoing requests in a timely fashion.
