Responsibility
Sitting in Dubai office you will be responsible for Engineering, Procurement and Construction of the Oil & Gas Project in Iraq. Engineering & Procurement will be executed from Dubai office and the Construction site will be in Basra, Iraq.
• As a Project Manager you are directing, controlling and managing through nominated staff all aspects of the project including in-house engineering, procurement, construction, interfaces, administration functions and all external work undertaken by contractors and consultants throughout the design, construction and commissioning phases of the project.
• Execute the project within the safety rules and Quality standards.
• Coming up with creative technical solutions that enable you to complete a project successfully within time and budget with the resources available and maximize the operational result and profit.
• Responsibility for your team, equipment, third party involvement and procurement for the project.
• Provide regular reports to the responsible manager and maintaining contacts with the supporting departments at the head office.
• Providing input to the preparation of the project implementation schedule, in particular the field activities and associated interfaces;
• Periodically reviewing project schedule and progress on the projects
• Coordinating the development of a project budget derived from the bid budget and a corresponding project implementation schedule;
• Preparing or directing preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, and designs for project;
• Maintaining liaison with sub-contractors
• Maintaining continued relationship with client during after project is finished to assure securing future work the client may have;
• Identifying potential business development with existing client and advise Sr. Management to submit the successful bids.
