Our client, a government entity based in UAE is currently looking for a Program Commercial Manager
Role Description:
The Program Commercial Manager will responsible to track, monitor and manage the program level commercial delivery of functions in order to effectively coordinate and manage all program stakeholders and sub-contractors in support of the client.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Lead the development of the contracting strategy across the program
Oversee the development of standardised contracting documentation. Lead the evaluation of all contracts and develop the recommendations for contract award
Review monthly invoices of stakeholders and sub-contractors and recommend the payments of invoice as needed.
Report on any contractual changes that needs to be implemented
Provide support to the Program Controls Manager as tasked. Support the compilation of the Monthly Progress Report. Other tasks as directed by the Client.
Skills
Education and Experience
Essential
The candidate should have a minimum of 15years' experience as a commercial manager on infrastructure projects.
The candidate must have been the commercial manager on projects that had a capital value in excess of AED 500 million-.
The candidate must have a degree as a quantity surveyor or as commercial lawyer with experience to suit.
Well-developed communication skills and au fait with the commonly used MS Office suite of software.
The candidate must have an intimate knowledge of international contracting frameworks and must be able to develop contracts suitable for the program. The candidate must have prior experience working in the UAE.
The candidate must have good writing skills and must have great organizational skills. The candidate must be fluent in English.
Desirable
Experience in military infrastructure projects.
