Job Description
Manage the Drivers, Supervisors, planning and admin Team to deliver maximum Safety, efficiency and service levels.
Liaise with Customer Representatives regarding specific transport operational requirements.
Work closely with supervisory and planning team to ensure all plans and executions are cost effective, well organized, measured and meeting customer expectations.
Maintain and improve Safe Driving protocols for all drivers.
Ensure strict, accurate & timely management reporting techniques and system reports as tools to ensure visibility of daily operational achievements/trends and recommend/implement resulting corrective actions.
Ensure a high integrity and fully accountable expenditure process is developed, with focus on minimizing cash handling.
Maintain, manage and improve an auditable and relevant KPI measurements (including On-Time Delivery and Vehicle Utilization).
Develop effective tracking systems to ensure KPI measurement and accurate monthly invoicing.
Maintain & improve Standing Operating Procedures for billing, internal customer transport requests, documentation handover and collection from drivers.
Capture market-related data for transport activities with an end objective of preparing realistic and competitive rate cards for both internal and external customers.
Source and evaluate Subcontractors only as required for client's specific requirements and to back up our current in house service.
Understand and review financial targets through monthly P&L review
Implement continuous Improvement initiatives and projects.
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience Minimum of 9 years' in staff transport and route planning.
- Must be knowledgeable in Trailers and other heavy vehicles.
- Must knowledgeable on UAE traffic, road and police regulations and laws.
- High Level of Customer Service ability.
