Position Description
To provide efficient, prompt, trouble free, courteous service and security to guests in absence of departmental managers and limited staff during the night, in line with the hotel's guidelines
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides value added service to customers by doing whatever is reasonable and possible.
To meet or exceed customer expectations
Communicates effectively with customers, co-workers and supervisors
Demonstrates teamwork by cooperating and assisting co-workers as needed
Maintains a favorable reputation of the Hotel at all times.
Maximizes room sales and revenue for the hotel.
Is available to register, process and greet and guests promptly and in a friendly manner.
Responds to guests' requests for information about the hotel and its surroundings.
Stays current with developments in the hotel by reviewing the communication logbook each shift; updates the logbook for next shift.
Prepares night audit reports as requested.
Is aware, at all times, of current room status and availability.
Utilizes yield management to maximize room revenue and to fill the hotel to maximum occupancy.
Handles all guests' complaints and reports to the Front office Manager in the following morning.
Takes action on any suspicious behavior of a guest or a staff and reports it to the Front Office Manager for proper follow up.
Follows emergency procedures in order to provide security and safety for guests and employees.
Writes a full report of all incidents occurring at night and presents to Front
Is responsible for checking the resort according to checklist.
Position Requirements and Offer Details
Billingual - Fluent in Arabic and English
2-3 years Hotel experience
1-2 years experience in GCC.
UAE Hotel experience would be an added advantage.
Good Communication skills
