This role is for a Marketing & Project coordinator who will report to the Project Manager. This role is based Dubai and will assist their managers in planning, execution and reconciliation of projects and events according to strict deadlines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities to include:
Supporting the Projects team in execution of all event related operations.
Distribution of specific contract or delivery information to all relevant departments and third party suppliers.
Support team in preparation of internal and external presentations.
Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyse results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
Assist in drafting budget proposals.
Participates and contributes at project brainstorming sessions with the team.
Gather on time & update official quotes internally or externally & forward the proposals as per sales team/ client satisfaction for the acceptance
Provide relevant information and guidance for the design team to obtain accurate event specifications.
Negotiates contracts and maintains relationships with preferred vendors.
Conduct pre and post convention meetings with clients and Sub contractors / Vendors / Artist / staff. Sets up event production meeting and organizes materials, reviews transportation itineraries, books venues and services etc.
Requirements:
Experience in Exhibition and Event industry is an advantage.
Excellent administrative skills, aptitude, and/or experience.
Ability to create, manipulate and utilize spreadsheets, work programs, etc.
Degree in Events, Marketing/PR and or Certifications in events is an advantage.
Can work independently and under pressure
Can commit on working extra hours
Must have the strength and power on handling projects
Capable on interacting with different people
Can join immediately
