About the Role:
An exciting role has arisen in the front office department at Jumeirah Emirates Towers for a highly motivated and hardworking individual. The main purpose of this position is to be in charge of in charge of all the Front Office administrative duties, including Accounting special requests. He/she will be in charge of replying to the requests received, and to forward all relevant information to the concerned departments. He/she will be in charge of all Finance related discrepancies and
Group billing as well as pre and post arrival accounting matters.

Your key duties will include:

Runs and takes ownership of the Daily Finance related tasks in a proactive way, and to fully drive the project to a continuous improvement.

Ensures that all relevant colleagues are trained on reading and understanding the relevant information concerning to all financial directives.

Builds a proactive relationship with all departments involved in the financial operation.

To maintain open line communication and ensure that guest feedbacks, remarks or complaints are handled effectively by liaising without any delay with all other departments concerned.

Is fully knowledgeable about the Sirius program.
Is the main contact for any guest correspondence before or after their stay in the hotel with regards to any financial queries the guest might have.

To handle any guest request through e-mail or phone concerning hotel billing.

To Check Hotel Credit limit report on daily basis.

To charge No show, settle advance purchase, settle City ledgers, and build a proactive relationship with accounts.

Follow up on accounting discrepancies with front office team in timely manner and ensure all discrepancies are cleared with limited time frame.

Assisting Front office colleagues for their day to day accountings.

Reconciliation of reservations on Third Party websites (Expedia, Booking.com).
Maintains a log of financial errors and discrepancies for training purposes.

Monitors Open Folio’s and FO accounts and ensures that all pending invoices are cleared in timely manner.

Monitors the guest correspondence on a daily basis.

Ensures that all e-mail requests are followed up and resolved.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Senior management.

About You:
In order to be considered for this role, you will have the genuine interest in assisting others, and enjoy working with people. It is essential that you have a minimum of two years experience in guest related job role in a 5 star hotel of more than 200roomsor similar environment. Good written & spoken English language skills. Additional
language i.e. Arabic or any other International language is preferred.
