JOB DESCRIPTION
Deploy and support servers, laptops, desktops, tablets, smart phones, and printers.
Deploy and support wireless access points.
Maintains and regularly verifies/tests backups and recovery procedures.
Maintains log of maintenance requests with description of resolution.
Tracks and documents IT hardware and software inventory.
Manages and maintains hardware and software licensing agreements.
Operates and maintains help desk systems to provide end user support all hardware and software/operating systems used.
Provides set up, testing, and installation of PCs, printers, and network connections.
Manages and maintains VOIP phone system.
Manages and maintains access systems.
Document IT processes and procedures.
Skills
Qualifications and requirements:
Prior UAE experience, minimum 2-3 years on similar role.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology.
Understanding of network routing protocols, TCP/IP and VLANs.
Experience with remote support tools as well as administering support by phone and email.
Performs after hours and weekend work if needed.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team with a courteous and professional attitude;
Software troubleshooting ability for problem research and error isolation;
