PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
This position is assigned to one manager or specialist in a key support role within the area of responsibility. In addition to support functions, this position is delegated certain decision-making within predetermined parameters, which are assignment specific.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Uses word processing and spreadsheet applications to input, edit, customize and deliver medium-to-complex typed documents with established quality and time standards. Proofreads and edits own work.
2) Performs diverse clerical tasks requiring some analysis, judgement and a detailed knowledge of those policies and procedures dealing with the area of responsibility within the assigned department.
3) Performs general and alphabetical and numeric filing, sorting, according to subject matter and/or cross referencing; locating and removing material upon request and keeps records of its disposition.
4) Reads incoming material and sorts according to the file system. May be required to keep records of material received or enter data on records.
5) Performs follow up of customers new, renewals and change requests with clients and ensures completion of assignements is specified times
6) Operates personal computer system, photocopying equipment, multifunction telephone, printers and fax machines.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Technical Skills:
Demonstrated competency with Personal Computers and basic keyboarding as well as the more popular word processing and spreadsheet software. Basic Problem solving and mathematical skills are needed.
Management Skills :
Interpersonal relations, Time Management, Mathematical aptitude, Communications, and office operations.
Education:
Degree or Diploma in Financial specialization
Communications:
Fluent in English--both written and oral-- strong with communications skills. Knowledge of Arabic is definite advantage.
Experience :
Two years related experience in a service-oriented industry. The ability to function in a Team-oriented environment is a must.
