Overview
The Fitness Sales & Marketing Consultant is responsible for promoting and selling memberships to potential new members and selling renewals/upgrades to current gym members.
Ensure all new membership targets and retention are met monthly and yearly
Providing a marketing strategy to maximize Gym exposure and generate new members
Develop promotions and ensure we have the necessary posters, flyers etc. Distribute passes, fliers, and other materials to create traffic flow of prospective members
Generates sales through Company and employee sponsored outreach and promotions .Maintain accurate membership records and enter data into a computer system
Respond to incoming email and phone enquiries
Conducts gym tours and sell the value of a Gym Membership
Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to sign up a new member
Establish and maintains a referral program
Ensuring Membership retention
Assumes responsibility for developing selling skills.
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails;
Representing the Company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
2 years of sales experience
Specific Skills: Sales and Marketing skills, communication skills, basic computer skills, phone etiquette, customer service
Position: Full Time
Salary: Basic + Commission
