About the Position
Position Summary
The Film and New Media Program at NYU Abu Dhabi is currently inviting applications for a full-time non-tenure track multi-year position in Screenwriting, to begin Fall 2017. We are looking for an established screenwriter and teacher, with experience in writing short and feature narrative films. We encourage applicants with an MFA in screenwriting to apply and are especially interested in working screenwriters with experience teaching various forms of writing; including narrative, documentary, experimental, web series, mobile and interactive media.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will teach three courses per year, advise students, and participate fully in University and program service.

Demonstrated professional and teaching ability in directing is a plus, as is written and oral fluency in languages other than English. Experience developing course materials is required.
