Description:

He/she shall do an evaluation of new possible treatment methods and technologies. He/she cooperates with the higher management and Chemical Hazardous Specialist to create and implement plans that will be useful to the business’ success and will collaborate with Collection Team in their daily business activities to ensure a smooth ongoing of the operational part of the whole company.

The Environmental Engineer reports to the CEO Middle East and is responsible to design projects leading to environmental protection. He/She puts company plans into action and will make common cause with the management in implementing new opportunities in the market.

Duties and Responsibilities (Not Limited to)

• Evaluate new possible environmental treatment methods and technologies.
• Prepare, review, and update environmental investigation and recommendation reports.
• Collaborate with Chemical Hazardous Specialist, Chemical Logistics Officer, higher management and experts in law and business to address environmental projects.
• Obtain, update, and maintain plans, permits, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide technical-level support for environmental remediation and litigation projects, including remediation system design and determination of regulatory applicability.
• Monitor progress of environmental improvement projects.
• Inspect all environmental facilities and programs in order to evaluate operational effectiveness and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Provide administrative support for projects by collecting data, providing project documentation, training staff, and performing other general administrative duties.
• Develop proposed project objectives and targets, and report to management on progress in attaining them.
• Advise clients of procedures to follow in cleaning up contaminated sites in order to protect people and the environment.
• Advise clients about environmental policies and standards.
• Inform Bridges employees and other interested parties of environmental issues.
• Assist in budget implementation, forecasts, and administration.
• Collaborate with the Chemical Hazardous Specialist to develop site-specific health and safety protocols, such as spill contingency plans and methods for loading and transporting waste.
• Coordinate and manage environmental protection programs and projects, assigning and evaluating work.
• Work with the Chemical Hazardous Specialist as liaison with federal and local agencies and officials on issues pertaining to hazardous waste program requirements.
• Design systems, processes, and equipment for control, management, and remediation of environmental component quality.
• Develop and present environmental compliance training or orientation sessions.
• Maintain, write, and revise quality-assurance documentation and procedures.
• Develop, implement, and manage plans and programs related to conservation and management of natural resources.
• Provide environmental engineering assistance in network analysis, regulatory analysis, and planning or reviewing database development.
