As an Ecommerce Procurement Manager, you will lead the Procurement team based in Dubai, UAE and oversee the whole merchandising process. The successful candidate will work closely with buyers to develop strategic sourcing plans to keep cost down, and to reduce lead time while maintaining product quality.
Scope of Work
* Develop and implement key procurement strategies
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
* Develop and implement business plan and metrics
* Lead cross functional teams and apply operations management techniques
* Analyze complex supply chain issues, conduct sensitivity scenarios, and provide and implement solutions to customer's logistics challenges
* Design and deploy distribution plans and strategies
* Be a subject matter expert concerning the issues, trend, directions and essential procurement processes in the B2C ecommerce industry
* Manage service provider's performance through the quarterly business review and the other key matrices included but not limited to cost, quality and services
* Ensure organizational financial goals are met or exceeded
* Develop internal and external partnerships critical to meeting objectives
* Develop annual cost savings programs and implement business strategies that directly effect company financial results and growth plans
* Advise on global supplier network capabilities and industry best practices
Skills
* 2-5 years experience of working in procurement or sourcing in a B2C ecommerce marketplace website environment.
* Ability to manage a team and build relationships with internal stakeholders
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Drive strategic sourcing and cost reduction programs
