We are currently looking for a Customer Service Executive for our Seven Seas office in Dubai, UAE.
The main purpose of the role is to provide quality customer service to clients in order to upsell products and retain business. The Employee will also manage the quotation process for clients to generate maximum orders and ensure the products are delivered on time and to the standard and quality expected.
Key Position Accountabilities:
Manage and control the Commercial email account to ensure all Request for Quotations (RFQs) and client emails are distributed to the relevant departments in a timely manner.
Download customer enquiry and orders from various internet based customer portals & e-platforms (i.e. ShipServ, Sis Commerce, BaseNet, MarineLink, B2B etc.).
Assist the Commercial team with the preparation of quotations using relevant systems as and when needed.
Maintain and develop existing customers to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
Responsible for handling technical and provision queries whilst liaising with internal procurement to ensure products are competitive and at the quality required for the client.
Ensure each quotation sent to a client is followed up within the agreed time frame to build on customer service activities and convert the quotation to an order.
Use customer and prospect contact activity tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.
Ensure individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets are achieved on a weekly and monthly basis.
Undertake initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery to meet challenges.
Perform any other duties as requested by the Team Leader/Commercial Manager.
Education, Experience, Training and Special Skills
Graduate with 1-3 years industry experience.
Sound Knowledge on Shipping Products (food and non-food items).
Ability to work in an international dynamic and multicultural environment.
Self-starter who possesses the ability to work independently as well as being a team player.
Experience in a customer facing role.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Good communication, negotiating and problem solving skills.
Good computer skills in Outlook / MS Office.
