Our Commercial & Residential Solutions business brings together industry-leading products, systems and services meet the toughest standards for productivity, efficiency and compliance while keeping costs down. Based in Dubai, this role sits within our Climate Technology team and serves the Middle East & Africa region.
The focus for this role is to ensure that customer collections are made in a timely manner and that all litigations are identified and resolved proactively. Additionally you will provide general assistance to the financial controller as and when required.
Responsibilities include:
Ensure customer invoices are generated in line with shipping documentation
Establishing documentary credits
Issue customer statements systematically to all customers every month
Proactive collections
Identify litigations and co-ordinate with relevant departments
Inter-company reconciliations.
Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis.
Recognize and accept HSE Roles & Responsibilities as defined in Emerson's Company Policy and Procedures.
Desired Skills and Experience
In order to be considered for this role you will have at least 2 years in similar role, a working knowledge of an ERP such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards and a good working knowledge of MS Office. You will also have a minimum of a diploma in Accounting and/or Finance, preferably a Bachelor's degree.
