Participate in developing processes, guidelines and action plans related to the section.
· Identify, record and keep evidence of all ideas, projects, initiatives, etc, that are related to the future & sustainability of transport, from internal, external and global sources.
· Conduct screening & initial analyses on the these ideas and identify potential ones for the future of Dubai.
· Patriciate with the team to prepare and update a matrix of all ideas, initiatives, projects, etc are related to the future & sustainability of transport and link them to RTA projects or propose new projects if needed.
· Participate in identifying sustainability pillars for RTA’s large and mega projects
· Identify potential topics for DG’s innovation labs.
· Participate in conducting technical studies related to the section.
· Follow up with agencies to obtain their plans and link it to the section
· Comply with the RTA policy in respect to the Stakeholders, Customer, Suppliers, Employees, and carry out duties and responsibilities as per RTA Code of Conduct.
· Provide technical advice and recommendations on various transport studies and projects.
· Participate in related teams and technical committees as instructed.
· Perform other related responsibilities and duties associated with the position.
2. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor in civil engineering or transport planning from a recognized University.
· 8 years of working experience.
· Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.
· Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications
· Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
· Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.
· Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects.
· Proven ability to develop quality standards, testing procedures, inspection reporting formats, and ability to conceptualize tasks and accomplish them.
· Good knowledge of statistical methods and their applications.
· Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve complaints.
