We are a Boutique retail company, in search of a Business Development Manager to join our office in Abu Dhabi.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing authorized distributors and retailers in order to achieve stated sales and EBITDA targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Managing distributors and authorized retailers
• Develop account specific stock and sales plans to align with financial targets and corporate goals
• Regularly meet with distributors and retailers to develop and implement precise sales and marketing plans and to foster good relations with accounts understanding their goals, market conditions, challenges, competitive activities and possible unique opportunities.
• Regularly meet with Headquarter and buying office locations to present and gain acceptance of sales and marketing plans and to develop good relations with accounts by understanding their goals, challenges and any possible unique opportunity.
• Maintain excellent relationship with existing clients and develop customers base simultaneously.
• Develop and maintain quarterly account P&L’s to ensure financial goals are being met.
• Monitor distributors and retailers wholesale sales, inventory levels and retailer activity to maximize sales opportunities and brand image.
• Develop forecasts and budgets in accordance with corporate direction
• Review and negotiate retail price positioning, price structures and distributor terms to validate our position in each market.
• Review terms, space, location and special offers with retailers to satisfy corporate goals set with distributors.
• Successfully introduce and secure new launch plans, orders and procedures
• Ensure brand presentation standards for all visual elements including presentations to merchandising follow the corporate direction.
Skills
• Minimum 5 years sales experience preferred with a minimum of 3 years in the cosmetic industry in the Gulf
• Language : Fluent English (both written and spoken) and Arabic a plus
• IT skills : Excellent PC skills in Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
• Personal Skills: Reliable & proactif, self Starter with pride in personal performance, excellent oral and written communication skills
University graduate, preferably with sales and marketing degree
