• Explore market dynamics for business opportunities and develop quality leads that can be converted to profitable business.
• Generate project/business opportunities and RFP's through research and networking to meet company's business plans and growth strategies.
• Develop relationships with government and high profile individuals through networking and attending meetings with peers within the industry.
• Design and implement the company's Marketing and Business Development Plan and strategy for meeting business goals.
• Drive the entire project contract process from initial inquiry, RFP coordination through deal closure.
• Collaborate with the design team and organize client meetings to closely follow the requirements.
• Document meetings through creation of Contact Reports, Design Briefs etc. and maintain a paper trail for all projects.
• Track and report current status of potential projects, markets, Customer news, and developments.
• Lead the contract proposal process with the help of team and prepare formal presentations.
• Be active and updated with the latest commercial developments in the market to tap new opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Fully engage clients in order to sell our design & fit out services, ensuring maximum profit and revenue for the company.
• Willingness to travel around the world to explore opportunities as needed.
Desired Skills and Experience
Skills Required:
• Computer literate with good operating skills in MS Office and other presentation tools.
• Excellent in working with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
• Existing strong relationships with Project Management companies and interior design consultants.
• Excellent interpersonal and written and spoken English communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills
• Outgoing personality with ability to engage clients
• strong willingness, self-disciplined and strongly motivated
Experience:
• Five- seven years’ experience in major architecture companies in business development and marketing – a design office is highly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a relevant major preferred
• Positive attitude towards obstacles and tight deadlines, out-going, strong communicator and able to take priorities and handle multi-tasks when he/she is required to do so
• Driving License is a must
• Extensive knowledge of the sales process
• Proven track record in business development within the UAE/GCC
• Detailed knowledge of competitors and industry peers
• Fluency in Arabic language is a plus.
