Feeding Instructions:
- If stored in a freezer: Thaw frozen milk in the refrigerator. Once thawed, carefully pour milk out of the storage bag into a feeding bottle for warming up.
- If stored in a refrigerator: Carefully pour milk out of the storage bag into a feeding bottle for warming up.
- Discard the storage bag after single use.
- Discard any leftover milk.
- Do not refreeze thawed milk.
- Do not microwave breast milk or storage bags containing breast milk.
Storage Instructions:
- Leave some room at the top of the storage bag to allow for expansion when milk freezes.
- Before freezing milk, air should be removed as much as possible.
- Label milk with the date and time it was expressed and always use the oldest stock first.
Storage Guidelines:
- Place of storage: Room Temperature, Approx. Temperature: 25deg C, Approx. Duration: 4 to 6 hours.
- Place of storage: *Refrigerator, Approx. Temperature: 0-3.9deg C, Approx. Duration: 3 to 5 days.
- Place of storage: *Freezer of a 2-door refrigerator, Approx. Temperature: -18deg C, Approx. Duration: 3 to 4 months.
- Place of storage: *Deep freezer, Approx. Temperature: -20deg C, Approx. Duration: 6 months.
* Always keep milk in the back of the freezer/refrigerator, away from the door and sources of heat.
Notes:
- Do not puncture the milk storage bags with sharp object.
- After warming of milk, always check the feed temperature before feeding.
- Keep the milk storage bags away from sources of heat.
- Discard the storage bag after single use. For your child health and safety do not recycle or re-use the bags repeated.
