AutoCAD Drafter/operator and Document Controller
Job Description
We are seeking a specialized candidate with immediate availability for the position of DRAFTSMAN/CAD OPERATOR for our interior fit-out projects in UAE.
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years CAD drafting/design experience in Interior, Civil and landscaping projects
Requirements:
• 5 years’ experience in interior fit out works (with at least 2 years in UAE)
• Fluent English
• Computer Applications Knowledge ( AutoCAD, Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Project planning and management tools knowledge is preferred
• Well organized
Key Responsibilities:
• The desired candidates shall be master in making Shop Drawings for interior fit out.
• Prepare shop drawings and design proposals to meet the project needs.
• Candidate should have Good knowledge in Drafting of necessary drawings as per the Dubai Municipality regulations, DCD fire code and Free zones.
• Archive, track and control revisions of design drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Able to create and/or re-design layouts and space plans.
• Modify plans to suit the needs of project engineers and designers.
• Experience in Joinery works and able to specify joinery products and interior finishes.
• Ability to prepare joinery workshop drawings.
• Ability to prepare all workshop drawings that is related to interior Fit-Out projects.
• Ability to prepare BOQs. And make space calculations.
• Must be able to develop enhanced architectural features and proficient in CAD design and developing rendering design.
• Ability to develop presentations.
• Job responsibility includes but not limited to all CAD layout, space planning, sample board presentation and Color & Finishes Swatches.
• Knowledgeable with 3D Max and other graphic software is a plus.
• Knowledge in Space Planning & Commercial Interior Environment, Fit out Detailing, Specifications, and Suppliers & Materials is important.
• Ability to coordinate different drawings together like civil, structural and MEP.
