I have a total of seven years work experience in this field and am confident that I can not only meet your needs by exceed them by a mile. As I have a successful track record of preparing accurate and timely monthly accounts. It is this, along with my experience of generally accepted accounting principles, established procedures, departmental guidelines, internal controls, and regulatory requirements that I feel makes me an ideal candidate for your position.
For the last three years, I have been working a Senior Accounts in the Finance department of a major Shipping company in UAE. In this role I have had to perform preparation of monthly Statement of Account, Vendors weekly payment runs and also ensure payment approvals are obtained from head office as per SOP, Bank Reconciliation, Cash reconciliation, making necessary adjustments, reviewing daily entries and Reconciliation of ledger, Assisting Auditors etc. All of these tasks require attention to detail under the pressure of tight deadlines.
Having attained most of the career goals that I have previously set myself, I am now keen to expand my professional ability and to seek new challenges in the field of accounting. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree along with CA foundation and some paper of CA inter too, and am greatly excited by the prospect of being able to use this knowledge, along with my natural passion for number crunching, to become a valuable member of your team.
I strongly believe that I have all the qualities you require for the mentioned post, and can assure you that I possess all the abilities needed for the accounting sector.
